the Estonian Song Festival

One of the traditions that Estonians are proud of is the Estonian Song Festival. It takes place every five years since 1869. Those festivals are held in the Tallinn Song Festival Grounds. The aim of the festival is to bring together the best choirs from across the country. Nowadays there are about 25,000 participants.

At the same time there is a dance festival. Mainly folk dances are danced.
