Our hometown

The town Rakvere (it`s historical name is Tarwanpe, in German it´s Wesenberg) is situated in North-Estonia. Rakvere is the administrative, economic and cultural centre of Lääne-Virumaa county. The population of Rakvere is about 17 000 people. Rakvere is now 706 years old.

Rakvere is a modern town. The midfield, fitness centre and the fortress of Rakvere are the most attracting and most characteristic places which distinguishing Rakvere.

For the 700th birthday of Rakvere a sculpture of Tarvas was put up. It is a 7 metre high statue of a big bull.

Our school is situated in Sõmeru, which is about 3 kilometres from Rakvere.
