Estonian language

Only 1,1 million people speak Estonian as their mother tonque. Our language is rich in vowels. The vowel - consonant rate is 45:55. The legend says that Estonian language is very beautiful language. Times ago it won the second place after Italian in a competition of languages. The sentence that competed was "sõida tasa üle silla" (drive slowly over a bridge).

Some Estonian words and phrases:
Tere! - hello
Tere hommikust! - good morning
Head aega! - bye
Aitäh! - thank you
Palun! - please/here you are
Ma räägin natuke eesti keelt - I speak a little Estonian

(ä sounds like a in "apple")

The text in the video:

Minu nimi on Kairi. - My name is Kairi.

Mis keeles sina räägid? - What language do you speak?
Tänan! Head aega! - Thank you! Bye!
